Modify Ringtone

You can set a different ring tone for internal (Intercom) and external (Trunk) calls.  Follow the instructions for your phone model.

You can also download additional ringtones.

iPECS 9x20 and 9x30 phones:

Select the ringtone for internal calls

1. Press the Menu button.
2. Press 2  (Ring).
3. Press 1 to select Intercom Ring Type. This is the option for internal calls.
4. Press 1 to select Keyset Ring Source. This is the source of the ringtones available on your phone.
5. Use the directional buttons to scroll through the list until you find the ringtone that you want to use. The highlighted ringtone plays automatically.
6. Press OK to set the ring tone.
7. Press Back to return to the previous screen. Press Exit to exit Menu.

Select the ringtone for external calls

1. Press the Menu button.
2. Press 2  (Ring).
3. Press 1 to select Trunk Ring Type. This is the option for external calls.
4. Press 1 to select Keyset Ring Source. This is the source of the ringtones available on your phone.
5. Use the directional buttons to scroll through the list until you find the ringtone that you want to use. The highlighted ringtone plays automatically.
6. Press OK to set the ring tone.
7. Press Back to return to the previous screen. Press Exit to exit Menu.

Select the ringtone for internal calls

1. Press the Transfer button.
2. Press 2  (Ring).
3. Press 1 to select Intercom Ring Type. This is the option for internal calls.
4. Press 1 to select Keyset Ring Source. This is the source of the ringtones available on your phone.
5. Use the Volume + and - buttons to scroll through the list until you find the ringtone that you want to use. The highlighted ringtone plays automatically.
6. Press  the Hold button to set the ring tone.
7. Lift and replace the handset to exit.
