If you reach a busy extension, you can camp on to the extension until that user answers. While camped, you will be on hold until the call is answered.
You can camp on to an extension that already has a camped call (up to 5 calls can camp on to the same extension). If an extension has multiple camped calls, calls are connected in the order that they camped on. You cannot camp on to an extension in DND.
Camp On
- Press the TRANS softkey or the Transfer button.
- Enter 519 (feature code for Camp On). The called party hears a Camp On Alarm tone.
Cancel Camp On
- Hang up.
